Michael’s passion for nutrition started at a young age. An avid athlete, Michael excelled on the track team and also as catcher and captain for his state-champion high-school baseball team. While still in high-school Michael developed and implemented a weight training program for the athletic department. After graduation, he went on to play college level baseball and was a member of the cheerleading squad at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. Michael gained dual bachelor’s degrees in Health Science and Biology and was awarded the distinguished Leadership Award in Health Education. Throughout his collegiate career, Michael worked as a personal trainer for Iron Works Gym. After completing internships under Dr. Curtis E. Montgomery, MD, at his obstetrics and gynecology clinic and also at Huntsville Memorial Hospital, he was offered the opportunity to work under a well-known nutritionist in Houston, Texas, where he fine-tuned his methodology and expanded his scope and vision for his solo practice launched in 2012, Michael Florida’s Life Nutrition. Michael has been seen on Great Day Houston and has also been featured in 002houston Magazine. His keen knowledge of the human body is incomparable. He also possesses the ability to synthesize physical and psychological factors into a clear understanding of the overall health and capabilities of each individual, which sets him apart from all others.

Originally a Midwest native, Nicole earned her Bachelors of Science from Miami University in Ohio. She began her career with MFLN in 2014 after enrolling at Texas Woman's University to obtain her Masters of Science in Nutrition. Nicole completed her apprenticeship requirements under Michael's direct tutelage before graduating in 2017. Nicole has a true passion for nutrition, education, and helping others achieve their wellness goals. She enjoys weight training, CrossFit, cycling, running, and yoga. Though well versed in all areas of nutrition and wellness, Nicole specializes in working with women, family nutrition, and young adults. She has personal experience in fueling while exercising during pregnancy, postpartum, and breastfeeding. In addition to her time at MFLN, she works closely with a bodybuilding coach to guide his competitors' nutrition, implements nutrition boot camps for area gyms, performs corporate wellness seminars, and nutrition seminars at local schools. Nicole is a great example of one who practices what they teach, and is genuinely compassionate and empathetic with her clients. She is an excellent source of knowledge and inspiration to those she works with.

Madison received her Bachelor's in Nutrition Science at the University of Houston. During her undergraduate years she worked in research promoting health and fitness with high-risk adolescents. In the summer of 2021, she began her Masters of Science in Nutrition with Texas Women's University to expand her knowledge of nutrition, and grow with the MFLN team.
